The Burran and Floyd families farm Alta Loma Vineyard at 3200 ft. elevation on a ridge overlooking the lost draw. The 20 acres sit on shallow sandy loam over limestone bedrock, and the low yielding vines show a robust expression of the region. Classic notes of cherry, fig, and leather are supported with herbal notes of dried sage, basil, and eucalyptus. A soft expression of this classic varietal is perfect for any season.
