Six generations of wine growers since 1870. This family tradition is what motivates the Eguren Ugarte Winery in Laguardia in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. In the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria, surrponded by 130 hectares of vines, this winery follows the philosophy that its founder Vitorino Eguren was very clear about. The idea was to embrace the spirit of welcoming and looking after visitors, which had been typical of the Rioja Alavesa farmers for centuries.
