The grapes are hand-picked and get their stalks removed before being crushed and fermented. It’s allowed to age in wood casks at the Sandeman lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia, usually for two to five years. Well suited to after dinner drinks, using in cocktails if you fancy it, and generally sharing with friends.
