San Simeon Grenache Rose Paso Robles 2023 750 ML

Our San Simeon Grenache Rose comes from our Stefano Vineyard in the celebrated El Pomar appellation in Paso Robles. With warm daytime temperatures balanced by cool afternoon breezes flowing through the Templeton Gap, making the Stefano Vineyard ideally suited to Grenache. These grapes are grown on less than four acres surrounded by steep hillsides filled with rocks of all shapes and sizes, in the heart of the vineyard. The 2022 growing season produced a memorable wine with great concentration and complexity.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a top priority at San Simeon. Our Paso Robles Vineyards are certified sustainable by the rigorous California Sustainable Wine Alliance (CSWA). At our certified sustainable Paso Robles winery, solar panels provide 100% of the needed electricity, and wastewater is effectively reclaimed and recycled for additional use.
Wine Making
For our 2022 Grenache Rose, we removed the juice from the skins quickly in order to preserve freshness and imbue a lovely pink color. This pink wine is suggestive of summer fruits, with perfumed notes of honey dew, plum, and strawberry. Mature fruit flavors persist on the palate with complementary notes of orange hibiscus. This beautifully structured wine has a vibrant acidity, round body, and a long finish.
