This is perhaps the most powerful Cabernet Sauvignon ever to come from Roy Estate. The wine is extremely aromatic showing layers of dark fruit, tobacco and cassis. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, bold and rich with ample blackberry, blueberry, cherry and dark chocolate. The wine possesses beautiful texture, a hint of sweetness and lingering finish. Well-integrated, silky tannins and nice acidity lift the wine. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a compelling example of the depth and power of the wines produced from this unique site. It is already drinking stunningly and will keep improving for the next 15-20 years.n n Containing splashes of Merlot and Petit Verdot and aged for 27 months in 100% new 225-liter Taransaud French oak barrels, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is very deep garnet-black in color and opens with slightly closed notes of warm cassis, mincemeat pie, Black Forest cake and mulberries with touches of sandalwood, dark chocolate and fragrant earth.
