Located in Rutherford of Napa Valley, the winery produces a range of wines, predominately made with Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards in Rutherford, St Helena, and southern Napa. The estate was founded in 1970 by Roy Raymond Sr. After the first vintage in 1974 the wines quickly found acclaim, and the estate began to grow. Raymond’s winery has become a popular tourism destination, with multiple tasting rooms and experiences including a sensory wine corridor, a blending room where visitors can make their own wine, and the private Red Room, where only certain wines are poured.
