Olelo Paso Robles Merlot is a red wine from California’s Paso Robles region. It’s a blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 25% new French and American oak. n Some say the wine is balanced, fruity, and mouth filling, with medium to full body, medium acidity, and medium tannins. It has cherry and red plum flavors, with aromas of dried plum-paste, oregano, light pepper, and gamy leather. Dried plum-paste, oregano, light pepper and gamy leather aromas show on the nose of this bottling. The palate offers dried oregano and marjoram atop the red-plum and berry flavors.
