SEVENTH RELEASE of Maybach Amoenus, from a hillside vineyard on Western side of Calistoga, where the moderating temperatures of the Black Mountain Gap are 10-15 degrees cooler than on the Eastern side, allowing gradual ripening and good maturation. TASTING NOTES The aromas from this deep purple wine will command your attention even with the glass an arm’s length away. The round, enveloping harmony of the aromas resonate with classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon highlights: dark fruit, exotic spice, aromatic wood, and ethereal floral notes. The palate experience is precise, layered and drawn out, well after consuming the first taste. Notes of crushed blackberries, clover oil, spearmint and cocoa nibs are expressed seamlessly in the glass.
