Marchesi Di Barolo Bric Amel Langhe 2022 750 ML
$59.99
Bric Amel is a white wine produced by the Marchesi di Barolo. “Bric” in the local dialect is the bricco, or the top of the Langhe hills, while “Amel” is honey, which hints at one of the scents of this wine.nnThe wine is a blend of Roero Arneis, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which are destemmed and softly pressed. The resulting must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks.nnPale straw yellow in color, it expresses itself on the nose with floral notes of acacia and hawthorn and fruity notes of peach and apricot, as well as hints of almond and honey. The sip is full, fragrant, fresh and delicately savoury.nnTo be paired with one of the classics of Piedmontese cuisine, veal with tuna sauce, but also with light first courses with vegetables and boiled or stewed white meats.
