It’s full in the mouth while remaining completely fresh, delicate and elegant.n n Producer Informationn Château Les Valentines is an organic estate in the Côtes de Provence wine region, with a focus on rosé wines. It is located at Londes-les-Maures, on the coast between Toulon and St Tropez. The property is spread over 50 hectares (125 acres) of pine forest, garrigue scrubland and vineyards, which were first planted in the first decade of the 20th Century. The property has full southern exposure to the sun, balanced by Mistral winds and the influences of the Mediterranean. The current owners, the Pons-Massenot family, took over the property in 1997, creating Château Les Valentines. The name is a combination of the first names of the family’s two children, Valentin and Clémentine. Nine different varieties are grown. Reds are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan. Whites are Rolle (Vermentino), Clairette and Ugni Blanc. Some 75 percent of production is rosé wine, 15 percent is red, and 10 white.
