This is the first release of the new third wine of Belair Monange, the J P Moueix estate that comprises the old Chateau Belair and Chateau Magdelaine. The vineyards are ideally situated on the plateau above Belair and Ausone, neighbouring Chateau Canon and the south facing slopes below Belair. It is bursting with vitality; pure, well delineated flavours abound from the glass. There is a real intensity and drive to the fruit, as well as a sense of tension and harmony, and a honed tannic profile. A real delight!
