Hacienda Lopez de Haro Blanco 2023 750 ML

Hacienda Lopez de Haro Blanco Barrica is a complex and unctuous white wine that has won awards since its first bottles both in Spain and around the world. The Viura grapes (mainly) used to make it are harvested by hand during the month of October and come from old vines planted on poor slopes in the area of ​​San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
After 24 hours of maceration and gentle pressing, the must begins its fermentation at a controlled temperature in small stainless steel tanks. Once this is over, it will age in French oak barrels for three months. After a short rest in the cellar, the wine is bottled to delight us with its straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections and its surprising aromas. Initially, the fruity notes are the protagonists, with suggestive aromas of dates, bananas and orange peel taking the aromatic reins. Shortly after, the subtle notes of the ageing appear, which can remind us of toasted bread and vanilla, adding complexity and a pleasant warmth to the wine. It flows through the mouth with a perfect balance between freshness and volume, caressing the inside of the cheeks with a seductive touch, refreshed by some hints of apricot. With each minute in the glass, it becomes more country-like, adding aromas of hay and dried flowers to the whole. It says goodbye leaving behind a long trail of classic, dry, absolutely comforting Rioja.
