Gianni Gagliardo Barolo Monvigliero 2019 750 ML

This Barolo from the Gagliardo estate is a blend of several plots of Nebbiolo from different villages in the village: La Morra, Monforte, Serralunga, Barolo, Verduno. The harvest is carried out manually then, following fermentation in stainless steel vats, the wine will age for 26 months in large 3,500 liter oak barrels. The distinctive characteristics of this vintage are marked aromas of cherry liqueur, rhubarb, cranberries, plum, subtle blueberries, licorice, leather, rose petals and violets. The palate shows firm and refined tannins, combined with a refreshing acidity which gives balance to the wine. A Barolo to keep but already shows all the elegance of this vintage.
