Florio Demi-Sec Superior Riserva 2015 is an Italian fortified wine made exclusively in Marsala. This Marsala, which is the fruit of the 2015 harvest, is produced from the Grillo grape. It has aged for 6 years in oak barrels and stayed in 3 different cellars. It begins its aging in the Ingham winery at less than 100 meters from sea level, before being moved to the Florio winery and then completes its journey at 163 meters from sea level in the Garibaldi winery. In the Florio winery, the barrels travel as they mature to shape their flavor profile.nnMarsala is an Italian wine with a controlled denomination of origin produced in Sicily, in the town of Marsalla. The specificity of this sweet wine comes from the fact that the grapes are harvested at full maturity before being exposed to the sun for a day or two, to concentrate the sugar they contain.
