The vineyard is planted to 4ha (10 acres) of Arneis, 6ha (15 acres) of Nebbiolo and about 2ha (5 acres) of Barbera on hillsides in Canale d’Alba. The business was founded by businessman and landowner Enrico Serafino in 1878. It was one of the first producers in Piedmont to sell its regional wines throughout Italy and abroad.
