Cocchi Vermouth Amaro Dopo Teatro 500 ML

This is an unusual wine based Vermouth Amaro made by following Giulio Cocchi’s century old recipe and enriched with rhubarb, chiretta flowers, and a double infusion of quinine. We have called it DopoTeatro because of the tradition in Turin to drink it chilled and garnished with lemon zest, after a visit to the theatre. It is the perfect way to add bitterness and elegance to classic cocktails as The Negroni or Manhattan.A classic vermouth amaro from Cocchi, based around a Barolo Chinato wine and flavoured with wormwood, rhubarb, chiretta, cassia wood and a double infusion of quina. “Dopo Teatro” means “after theatre”, in reference to an old tradition of enjoying vermouth after a night at the theatre in Turin. Of course, if you don’t go to the theatre all that often, this is well suited to after-dinner drinks as well.
