The first vintage for the Dillon family, who purchased this estate in 1997, the 1998 Chateau Nenin is a sexy, ripe, fully mature Pomerol that delivers the goods. Made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, it offers lots of chocolatey dark fruits, spice box, and dried herb aromatics, full body, terrific density, and ample density and texture. It’s not going to get any better but is terrific drink.
