Chateau Lanessan 2016 750 ML

Based in the Village of Cussac Lanessan sits on the border of St, Julien and the Haut-Medoc. Lanessan counts the famed hateaux Gruaud Larose and Beychevelle as its neighbors. By quirk of history, the chateau never sent samples to be considered in the 1855 classification and has since labored in the shadows of its famed neighbors. This historical accident translates into a great value from Bordeaux!. The Lanessan vineyard has belonged to a succession of eight generations of the Bouteiller family and is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux. This estate covers more than 350 hectares, including 85 hectares of vines. Architect Henri Duphot finished construction work on the present Chateau. Its neo-classical style is inspired by Tudor influences. The winemaking cellar was also built.
