Chateau Lafitte Cotes de Bordeaux 2019 750 ML

The winery’s second wine was named after the vineyard that’s situated on the hilltop close to the chateau. Compared to the Grand Vin, the Merlot was given a larger role in it, but it is still dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, and only contains a small part of Cabernet Franc. It was aged for a year and a half in barrels, 10% of which were new. Cherry, sour cherry, subtle forest floor notes, ripe plum and vanilla. It has nice structure, the refreshing acids are in balance with the silky tannins, with a long aftertaste.
