Description
Cakebread Suscol Springs Cabernet tells the story of this hillside estate vineyard where cooler temperatures and rocky, well draining soils yield concentrated fruit and exquisitely balanced acidity. Comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, the wine aged 22 months in 70% new oak, 30% neutral oak barrels.
Fresh expressions of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry are balanced by fresh acidity and supported by a firm tannic structure.
