Ca Dei Frati Lugana Bianco I Frati 2021 750 ML
$62.89
On the nose, there are hints of ripe fruit, peaches, yellow apples, rose petals with fresh, balsamic notes. Very fresh and elegant on the palate. n n Producer Information n n Càdei Frati is an Italian wine producer situated on the southern shores of Lake Garda in Lombardy. It makes a range of Lombardy’s most widely recognized wines styles, like those from Lugana-Lombardy, Riviera del Garda Classico and Benaco Bresciano, but it also produces a single Amarone della Valpolicella wine. The estate can trace its history back to 1782 to a wine cellar situated in the commune of Sirmione in Lugana. By 1939, the house and its cellar had been acquired by Felice Dal Cero, who began developing the winery and its vineyards over the next 30 years. Càdei Frati’s first bottle of wine was released under the Lugana Casa dei Frati label in 1969. The Lugana wine range includes two still white wines made from Turbiana (more commonly known as Verdicchio). In addition to its Amarone della Valpolicella, the estate also produces a red Benaco Bresciano IGT wine from Marzemino, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Càdei Frati’ rosé is produced from Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera. The estate is also known for its sparkling wines that comprise rosé and white Brut Spumante wines produced using the Metodo Classico process.
