Bertus Fourie, nicknamed “Starbucks” for the unprecedented advances he has made in the unique world of coffee pinotage, is a multi-talented wine personality.
With a string of degrees in microbiology, chemistry and oenology, as well as various business qualifications, Bertus was Cellar Master and Viticulturist at Diemersfontein and later Senior Winemaker at KWV.
Bertus developed Barista in conjunction with Vinimark The Wine Company, South Africa’s largest independent wine wholesaler.
