Golden color with green hints. Subtle oak notes of vanilla are present coupled with an intense bouquet of citrus, quince, and honeycomb. As the wine is exposed to air, secondary aromas of flowers and yellow fruits emerge. Medium to full bodied with an intense mouthfeel, this wine has flavors of stone fruit and subtle barrel notes coupled with high acidify and a long finish.n n Producer Informationn Anatolikos Vineyards was established in 2005 by Sakis and Marios Nikolaidis, experienced businessmen of Xanthi in the fields of gastronomy and mass focus. The vineyard is located in the are of Avdira, Xanthi, in Thrace (Eastern Greece). In Avdira city, being known from ancient times as a city of Thrace, begun the struggle for the revival of the famous ancient vineyard in 2000. Contributing in this initiative, the Anatolikos Vineyards started farming Greek and foreign grape varieties in 2005. The vineyard’s location on the dry hills of Avdira city, at an altitude of 50-70 meters and approximately 2 km away from the Thrace Sea. The terrain has sandy soil has continuous cool winds and Avdira’s microclimate contribute desicively in manufacturing high-quality products. Today, Anatolikos Vineyards has released 7 labels of varietal and regional wines of Avdira certified organic and continues it’s developmental program aiming in the vineyard’s expansion. Always according to the principals of bio-agriculture, growing traditional grape varieties from the lands of Avdira and Thrace, and futhermore, developing the structure of the distribution channels in Greece and overseas.
