From Domaine Alexandre Bonnet in the Champagne area of ​​Les Riceys, you get here an exceptional white wine from the Hardy and En Vigneron fields, made from 34% Pinot Noir and 66% Chardonnay.nnThe wine is fresh, aromatic and elegant, and shows great mineral clarity and intensity. It is quite unique to see still wine from Champagne, where you typically make the big, classic sparkling wine champagne. However, the champagne house Domaine Alexandre Bonnet has made an extraordinary series of three still wines, where this ‘blanc’ is the house’s only, classic white wine – but what a white wine! The grapes are harvested on the two fields Hardy and En Vigneron. 34% of the grapes are of the Pinot Noir type from the Hardy field – these are produced as a white wine without maceration on the grape skins, which is usually what gives Pinot Noir wine its color.nnTo this is added 66% Chardonnay from the field. A Vigneron where half of it is matured in ex-Meursault casks from Burgundy. The wine is from the 2019 harvest and only 600 bottles of this special and extraordinary white wine have been made.
