 Producer Information-

Niepoort Dry White is a historic, family-owned producer of Port and table wines in the Douro Valley, in northern Portugal. It was founded by Dutch immigrants in 1842, and is now known for its distinctively packaged and energetically marketed wines.The Port house owns numerous quintas, or vineyard estates, throughout the Douro valley, although before the 1980s, all grapes were purchased from grower vineyards.Niepoort Dry White Porto

Niepoort Dry White Porto began acquiring vineyards with the purchase of the Quinta de Nápoles estate, in the southern central Cima Corga region in 1987, which has around 30 hectares (75 acres) of vineyards above the Têdo river.This was joined by the neighboring Quinta do Carril in 1988, and a dedicated Port-making facility was made in Vale de Mendiz in 2003.
