Led by Chris Hancock MW and Head Winemaker Larry Cherubino, Robert Oatley wines is located in Mudgee, New South Wales, three hours north-west of Sydney. The vineyards have good levels of rainfall and strong sunshine, with an elevation of 500m+ which makes the difference, resulting in a longer, cooler, ripening period. Oatley, who died aged 87 in 2016, always adopted the simple mantra that `all wines should be a darn good drink’. Truer words have never been spoken.
