Ziata Cabernet Franc Oakville Station 2021 750 ML
$96.59
Oakville Station, Oakville: The Oakville appellation is revered for its red Bordeaux varietals. The Oakville Station Vineyard is a 20-acre parcel in the heart of the original To-Kalon Vineyard that was established by Hamilton Crabb in the late 1800s—and is now one of the most recognized vineyard names in Napa Valley wine. This vineyard is located on the western side of Oakville, which is notably cooler than the eastern side of the appellation, on the benchland leading up to the Mayacamas mountain range. Fruit grown here ripens fully, but evenly, and results in a finished wine with pretty structure and an amazing profile of aromas and flavors. It’s no wonder that fruit from this site is highly sought after—and difficult to secure. For us, it was like finding the Holy Grail for our Cabernet Franc.
