Georg Breuer Riesling Rudesheimer Berg Roseneck 2017 750 ML

This dry Grand Cru version of Roseneck will not be released by Theresa Breuer until 2023, as the wine always appears closed in its youth. After 6 years of bottle aging in the vineyard, this touching and clean wine shows a sensational crystal clear nose which has started to open with apricot, flowers, wet stones, peach, wax, an extremely stony touch, petroleum and lots of citrus fruit. It follows up with a fantastic taste. Crystal clear, completely focused, silky polished in its texture and with tantalizing salty undertones, this incredible version of Roseneck unfolds beautifully in width at the front with enormous pressure on the tongue, before gathering towards the finale in an expression of sublime balance. Completely dry, but so brilliantly clean and harmonious, this is a true great wine from Theresa Breuer in a vintage that is very highly regarded by Breuer.
