Marsala Superiore ‘VecchioFlorio’ by Florio is a versatile wine, well known in Italy and abroad, which comes from Grillo and Cataratto grapes and ages for 30 months in ancient oak barrels, well beyond the requirements of the DOC specification. From grapes harvested at advanced ripening under the hot Sicilian sun, it contains the hints of bitter almonds and raisins typical of Marsala, combined with notes of spices and vanilla.
