Etneide Etna Rosso DOC is cultivated 580m above sea level in ancient vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna in Castiglione di Sicilia’s Verzella and Chiappemacine regions. With a family lineage spanning over 150 years, the family’s dedication to viticulture is evident in every bottle. This is a strong and intense wine produced with indigenous grapes of Nerello Mascalese. After hand harvesting, the grapes undergo a 12-day fermentation in stainless steel vats. The result is a ruby red color tending to garnet wine. A complex wine, with fruity notes of blackberry and currant, accompanied by hints of spices such as black pepper and vanilla, along with a distinct minerality reflective of its volcanic origins.
