Santa Rita Bougainville Petite Sirah 2020 750 ML

An outsider with Chilean roots. In 1991 Vina Santa Rita intended to import Syrah from the United States, but due to the scarcity of the variety at that time, it opted for the little known Petite Sirah. Once in Chile, this variety it was grafted onto old vines in Maipo Valley to respect the quarantine of a new variety in our country. When the quarantine was over, it was later replanted in various valleys, and to everyone’s surprise, it was the old vines in Maipo Valley which gave the best results. Today we are proud that our Bougainville is the best Petite Sirah in South America comes from a old vines by the first Chilean winery to plant it, Santa Rita.
